What is Polyhexia?

Polyhexia is a single-player RPG built around a living, buildable dice collection. You explore a world of six distinct zones — from the Starter Meadows to the Astral Planes — fighting enemies and bosses by rolling the dice in your hand, choosing whether to attack or defend on every turn, and managing a bag of up to ten dice you've carefully curated from hundreds of possible drops.

The deeper you go, the harder the fight.
The harder the fight, the better the loot.
And the better the loot, the more powerful your next roll.

How It's Played

Every battle is turn-based and deliberate.

At the start of a fight, you draw dice from your bag into your hand. On your turn you choose your dice, decide whether to Attack, Defend, or use an item — then roll. Your dice deal damage or absorb it depending on their type, their combat class, and how well they match up against the enemy in front of you.

The combat triangle keeps every choice meaningful: Melee beats Ranged, Ranged beats Magic, Magic beats Melee. Pick the wrong dice against the wrong enemy and you'll feel it. Pick the right ones and watch your damage double.

Enemies hit back. Status effects spread. Bosses hit hard. You'll need more than luck.

Build Your Bag

No two players fight the same way.

Dice come in six types — D4 through D20 — and three combat classes. They drop in six rarities, from Common to the near-mythical Extraordinary. Every die you own goes into your collection. Every die in your bag goes into battle.

The real depth comes from gem socketing. Each die can hold up to three gems — Lifesteal, Crit, Echo, Frost, Venom, Bleed, and more — transforming a basic D6 into something with personality. Want a Magic D12 that poisons enemies and crits on a 15% chance? Build it.

Your bag is a statement. Ten slots, hundreds of combinations.

What Sets Polyhexia Apart

Dice as equipment, not random chance. Most games treat dice as a mechanic. In Polyhexia, dice are your gear. You hunt for them, socket them, trade out bad rolls for better ones, and feel the difference when a Legendary D20 lands in your collection.

Real decisions on every turn. Attack, Defend, or item — it's never automatic. Status effects like Burn, Curse, Paralysis, and Bleed force you to adapt mid-fight. A Defense Potion might save your life. An Elixir Potion might flip a losing battle.

A world worth exploring. Six zones, each with 100 areas and a dungeon beneath it. Six bosses with names and lore. A World Map you pan freely, hex nodes you unlock one battle at a time, and a sprint to the endgame that keeps getting harder.

A living character. Skills, avatars, accessories, a player tag, a level — your character grows across sessions. Cloud saves keep your progress safe. Offline HP regen means you come back to a healthier version of yourself.

Incredibly rare rewards for the committed. Legendary accessories drop from bosses at odds of 1-in-5,000. Extraordinary ones at 1-in-10,000. When a star drop hits, you'll know it meant something.
